Browsing: Skin Oxygenation

In a recent study by the Medical University of Gdańsk, researchers discovered that girls with type 1 diabetes (T1D) had significantly higher resting transcutaneous oxygen pressure (TcPO2) compared to boys, suggesting better skin oxygenation. This difference may be attributed to hormonal influences like estrogen, highlighting the role of gender in diabetes-related microcirculatory health.
